Hispanic Health Card

FONEMED, together with TeleMedic of Mexico, offers the MedCuida card – a two-nation card that provides health services to Hispanics in the United States and to their families in Mexico.  The card is available through authorized distributors.

In the United States, cardholders receive toll-free telephone access to a Registered Nurse for any questions that they or their families have, 24 hours a day.  The non-emergency service is available in English or Spanish, and there is no limit to the number of times that families can call.  No question is too minor, no concern too small.

Answers to specific questions may lead to:
•    Guidance about self-treatment at home;
•    Immediate or scheduled visits to your physician’s office;
•    Emergency treatment.

In Mexico, family members also receive access to a 24/7 telephonic nurse advice line.  In addition, families get two house calls and two ambulance dispatches a year and access to an exclusive nationwide network of health services with discounts up to 50%.
